It is not a one-shot scene
How I built a studio-style 3D kitchen with Claude Code, Codex and one human art director. Nine and a half hours, six stills, eleven reviews by a second AI model, and a floating cup that seven review rounds missed.

Agents that play Factorio
Part 1
Mission control
Part 1 of 2. In July I let a colony of Claude Code sessions play Factorio for a week: a foreman, eight named workers, a reviewer, a “god” on Claude Fable, and a dashboard that looked like mission control. Between 17:00 and 21:00 UTC it logged 856 refused sessions as successes, and from 17:31 its production log was silent.
Part 2
Nothing learns while it plays
Part 2 of 2. In October I built a hive of agents for Factorio on one rule from the research: only a grader the learner cannot touch may change the next run. Five days, 13,942 decisions, two no-go verdicts from Codex, and what I would do differently.

Building 3D scenes with AI
Part 1
Fast to try, slow to make good
My first try at a studio-quality 3D scene with AI. One beautiful image from Krea, 34 rounds in Blender, a walkable Unity build, a lake that went black and a granite wall where a rock should lie. And the pipeline that came out of the mess.
